For Faculty Members:

Faculty members possess invaluable technical expertise in the form of
sophisticated training in research methods. We seek professors who are
interested in fully collaborating with community partners around research
issues that emanate from the community and that are directed towards social
change and social justice. Community-based research provides professors with
exciting opportunities to advance their own knowledge as researchers and
utilize the knowledge of the community. The goal of this collaborative
process is to produce research that will enable the community partners to be
effective advocates for the people that they represent.
